In the movie Confessions Of A Shopaholic, the lead character Becky Bloomwood is a financial journalist who makes it easy for her readers to understand her articles by using analogies to retail shopping. The latter is a favourite pastime of hers and unfortunately an activity that she is quite obsessed with, to her detriment.
When I look at my investment portfolio, I realise that it tallies with what I want to see in my wardrobe. We buy clothes and accessories that match our lifestyle, age group, work and the activities we engage in.
